A+ (220-1101 and 220-1102) Series
LearnKey’s A+ series of courses, starting with the 220-1101 exam (also known as the Core 1 exam), prepares students for the premier certification for people looking to gain employability in a tech support role. These courses will help people gain the skills needed to eventually move to a higher IT role, such as tech support manager or application support specialist. Specifically, the 220-1101 course focuses on hardware and troubleshooting and covers mobile devices, networking, hardware, virtualization and cloud computing, and hardware and network troubleshooting. The 220-1102 exam, also known as the Core 2 exam, focuses more on the software aspect of information technology. LearnKey’s Network+ (N10-008) course is an introduction to networking, with the goal being that a person obtaining this certification becomes highly employable in any junior to mid-level network support position. Specific topics covered in this course, which map to the CompTIA Network+ (N10-008) exam, include networking fundamentals, network implementation, network operations, network security, and network troubleshooting.

LearnKey’s IT Fundamentals (FCO-U61) course will focus on essential IT skills and foundational knowledge for an entry level IT professional. Specific topics covered include: concepts and terminology, infrastructure, applications and software, software development, and security and database fundamentals. Among these topics, students will learn how to identify types of software, how to use an operating system, understand common peripherals, and learn key troubleshooting methodologies. At the completion of this course students will be prepared to take the IT Fundamentals exam and will be more employable for any entry level IT position.
